Today we should be thinking about finishing our pinch projects - making them smooth. Any 'crumbs' of clay will fire to sharp points!
We will talk about how to dry a project so it does not crack or have parts break off. Day one in an open bag in your locker, day two no bag in your locker, day three - if not intricate - on the rack.
We will talk about how the bisque kiln works - it fires for 2 days - day one to evaporate the water, day two to vitrify the clay - turn it to stone!
We will talk about how to put your work on the bisque cart and how to list that on your notes.
When you put a project on the bisque cart it needs to be dated - have your initals on it - and your period number. Otherwise it will not be fired.
Friday we will start the coil pot!
