Remember to use the note sheets to document your progress every day. Write down where you put your project and what you got done. Take a photo with your phone - it will come in very handy if your project goes missing.

Anything that dries rough will end up sharp. :(
If the thickness of your project is largely uneven it will heat up unevenly in the kiln and expand unevenly and will be prone to breakage or explosion! AND things that explode break other projects. (Very bad Karma!!!)
